Compliance and Condition Audits

Compliance and Condition Audits are essential for developing a planned maintenance approach particularly with respect to large, complex sites, providing a condition assessment of singular or multiple buildings.

They provide an opportunity to compare the condition of a building against statutory requirements and standards.  Furthermore, we can provide separate analysis pertaining to specific standards; environmental obligations or mandatory legislation.

NDC have a team of qualified in-house staff to undertake such surveys, audits and risk assessments. Output management reports are tailored to provide the client with consolidated cost and management information.

Where the client operates from leased premises, further analysis of the works required can be separated to identify costs for the maintenance or repair of the building and where the responsibility for this lies.

Where legislative or other regulatory requirements are required to be met on the site, NDC carry out visual Compliance and Condition Audit surveys to assess the priority and budget cost of implementing remedial actions for such requirements.

Legislation

Compliance and Condition Audits form an important part of Workplace Risk Assessments as required by The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 (MHSWR).  They integrate measures required by all relevant building regulations, approved codes of practice and guidance, such as The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HSWA).
